Museum Guard

No specific request made by the Museum Guard in the Netherlands. I sent him this postcard of Shelby county, IN. This is actually not to far away from where my husband and I were married on 9/8/07.

Jodi Picoult

This card was sent to Bethesda, MD. Unfortunately what the receiver really wanted was special stamps. I have none so I guess I should add that to my list of things to get if I'm going to continue this thing. He did request a cityscape too so this goes out to the stamp collector in Bethesda. Number 11 Sent

Oh and he likes Jodi Picoult so I vote this guy rocks!

All Kinds

"All kinds of cards are welcome!" Well that's good because I honestly did not think anyone would request this card. This card was sent to a small town in Finland. The receiver requested to hear about the sender's culture. I wrote some but I really need to work on getting better. Tenth card sent!

Piggys

I received this postcard from a small Pennsylvania town. I have no idea how this card would represent something from that town but the author wrote a nice note about how she loves graphic design and does some design work on the side. I believe the postcard has more to do with her hobby than geographical location but that was not expressed. Nice card, nice lady. They keep getting better.

Kinkakuji Temple

I received this postcard from Ayako in Morioka, Japan. The post card is of the Kinkakuji Temple and the postcard says the temple "was originally erected in 1937 by dynast Yoshimitsu Ashikaga"
Ayako talks about how beautiful the gardens are, this is a real nice post card.

Letter from India

The first postcard is a mountain goat, the second is a photo of Kathakali, the third is a photo of Mohiniyattam. All three postcards came with a two page letter from Shinjo. she explains in great detail each of the postcards which i will not go into here.

Update: I sent Shinjo a package with postcards(forgot to scan) and we emailed a few times. I liked our correspondence but felt she was really trying to sell me a trip to India not looking for a pen pal. This will be the last post for her.
